If this does not lower your blood pressure a few points, I don't know what will! I was walking out my driveway about 5:45 this morning to go help my neighbor, Heinz with his landscape project when this little buck stepped out of the brush on to my driveway about 20 feet in front of me. We both froze for a moment, then he continued to walk across the driveway while I went for my cell phone camera. The white house in the background is where I work with Heinz. The little buck did not seem to care much that I was there, he never ran, and just peacefully grazed, and once in a while he would raise his head and check that I had not moved. After about three minutes, I decided to leave him alone and go on my way. He sure did have some beautiful antlers! As I moved down the driveway, it curved toward him, and I thought he would run, but instead, he turned away and just continued to graze. What a wonderful way to start my day!!! I put this to some relaxing music so you can enjoy it when ever you view it.

So glad it was relaxing for you elkotronics! That is the effect I hoped this video would have on people. This buck was really handsome. It was a real treat for him to let me stay so close without him getting alarmed.

I love deer. I was recently in Yellowstone and saw a lot of elk.

Are there hunters in Green Valley?

I have never seen an elk in person, but just from pictures, they look magnificent! Glad you got to see some. As for hunters in Green Valley, it is possible there are a few, but hunting is certainly not allowed in Green Valley!

Elk are huge! And very beautiful. Good to hear there’s no hunting there. We also saw bison, bears and moose. Such a awesome place!!!
