The video pretty much tells the story on this one. I am fairly sure we had over an inch for Saturday, maybe even an inch and a half!!! What a monsoon season for the record books!!!

Wow, Bart!! Amazing how much rain you're getting. Felt like we were right there with you under that carport! I would imagine all the roofers are very busy - and maybe the window guys too. Really something to watch the intensity of that rain! Sorry for all the exclamation marks but it has been so long since you've had consecutive soakers like this. Thanks for the up-close filming and so happy that all the plants and trees are getting this much needed rain!

I would say exclamation marks are appropriate for responding to this video and for this monsoon season! I too am very happy for all the water we are banking in the aquifer as well as what the plants are soaking up and what is available for the animals. Just what we needed when we really needed it!!!

Neat!

I saw a lovely rainbow when driving home (from Phoenix to San Tan Valley) late Friday afternoon. We've had more rain out here this year; not crazy about commuting in it, but I do love seeing it and (of course) we sure have needed it.

I can totally understand not wanting to commute in the rain, but we sure do need it! We had better take it while we can! I tell my wife that soon enough we will have endless sunny days without rain for months, so be happy for the rain while it lasts!!!

God & Mother Nature is looking after y'all good folks & desert critters/ plants, who have needed the rain, badly.

My brother had his home re-roofed last week. He lives close to Monterey, CA. They haven't had rain in a long time, & neither have we, in southwest Oregon. Hopefully we will get some rain soon.

Yes, we have been very fortunate this year. It helps make up for next to nothing for the previous two years. I sure do hope CA and OR get some rain soon. I know OR needs some help with those wildfires!!!
