I know the video is on the long side, but if you choose to watch, I do not think you will be bored! There are some great lightning shots, lots of epic thunder and one really close strike where there is only a second between the strike and the loud thunder. Thankfully, at my location, we did not see the 60 mph winds or the penny sized hail advertised in the severe thunderstorm warning. I hope no one else did either! My guess is that we got between a half and three quarters of an inch from this storm. Monsoon season is over at the end of this month, and it has been one for the record books! We are all very thankful for the rain and the cooler temps this summer!!!

Interesting seeing what looks like a wall of water from the rain in the distance. Very dramatic thunder and lightning. Looking forward to finding out what your final monsoon season tally is. Really enjoying watching it, thank you!

I spoke to my neighbor today who has a weather station and he told me that we got .49 inches from this storm at our location in Green Valley. I'll take it!
