The video quality is not the best as all I had was my cell phone available at work. I can't thank my neighbors and friends Keith and Petra enough for being willing to come help me do something about these baby doves before the equipment their nest was on is moved tomorrow! I also thank the ownership of Green Valley Decorative Rock for giving me some time to try and do something about these baby doves!

Here is a link to Petra's channel. Petra has a trail cam strategically located and captures some fantastic wildlife photos and video!!!

You and Petra are absolute angels for saving and relocating these baby doves. I can't get over how calm and sweet they are, sitting there with their fluffy feathers. That piece of equipment looked like the metal held the sun's heat, so a perfect place to nest. Amazing how Petra gently lifts them both up, nest and all, and puts them in the box.

One small suggestion that you may have already thought of. They might want to see out (and mama see them) and might need a lower box. The new tree looks windier so hopefully the box is secure and won't tip. Baby doves can't help but bring out the protective instincts in everyone, they are just adorable!

My hat is off to both you and Petra for the love you show to Green Valley's wildlife. You've earned your angel wings. Thank you for sharing this.

I won't post a spoiler but that last shot in the video was just awe inspiring.

I cannot disagree with you rfomd129! The next afternoon, I went to check on them and they were gone. I am hoping that Momma came and convinced them to fledge. I am going to leave the box there for another week as I was told by the wildlife rescue folks that the babies might go back to it at night for a while. Anyhow, I sure hope they are free and living their lives!!!
