I love this! In all the years I lived in AZ I never once saw a javelina. Wish I had. A friend who lives in far north Scottsdale on the edge of the wilderness said you smell them before you see them!

That little rascal... there's always one, right?! LOL

Where I live (in Green Valley) AZ, we see them frequently. The "smell them before you see them" is not always true. I have walked by a large prickly pear and had one be on the other side of where I approached, and I never caught a whiff. Then there are times when the squadron is busy marking the area and each other, and you cannot miss the smell. Glad you enjoyed the video pathrunner!
