I live in Pinal County and was wondering out of curiosity if any French people (or descending or ascending of) were living around the town of Florence? I have relocated to Arizona from New York City, as an early retiree and was born in France. By the way! Happy Memorial Day!

We'll be moving to Tucson in a few months and would love to be able to keep up our French. Maybe we could all arrange a periodic French language night at a restaurant or pub.

There appears to be a French meetup group in town:

I had a lady come to my house today in a blue Lexus asking me to join a French Religious group here in Tucson. I forgot her name and dismissed her, but after she left I was intrigued and regret not getting more information from her. My email is TVPicard@gmail.com would like to get back in touch with her. Thanks Tom

I had a split German/French minor at the UA, and one could possibly locate a few organizations through the French Department in the Modern Languages building on campus. They were nice people when I was there (some decades ago). There used to be a good French restaurant on Speedway Blvd, called Penelope's; but I think she closed or moved.

Here's some links with Penelope's in the search bar that give some history and might include other French establishments:
