This is a project you can do over a weekend, and even in one day if you are highly motivated. We have lived here in this house for 9 years now, and the back yard has looked pretty much the same all that time. My wife really wanted something different than the river rock look, so I decided to finally do something about it. Between what I have learned from working at Green Valley Decorative rock and helping my neighbor Heinz with landscape projects at his house, I felt pretty comfortable tackling this "Phase 1" project. There will be other phases coming up, but for this video we will cover the initial work for phase 1, and part II will cover the completion of phase 1. I hope you enjoy watching, and maybe this will inspire some of you to go start your own landscape project!!!

What the heck are nursery stones and why did I use them in my back yard project? Part I 06122023-img_2679.jpeg

I say Heinz is a perfectionist. He says he is fussy. Anytime I work on a project with Heinz, whether it be his or mine, I know it will turn out great!!!
