Looking for opinions on which shop would be considered the best in town. Not looking for your basic body and repair shop.Looking for guys who work more on exotic cars or classics.

I have read alot about a place called "High Speed Customs" Although I don't live there yet I have been researching car stuff because I am a die hard car fanaitc. They look like they have a high quality shop. Check out their web site.

Hi Speed Rods Customs Choppers

I know of another place that does very high quality Chevy v8 conversions in Porsche 914's and also does restorations. You might contact them and ask for suggestions.

Desert Hybrids Precision

You mix your purple tint into a clear coat and apply that way. Then you finish with your final clear coat...Of course do a test panel first,so you can determine how much purple you want.

Yes, definately experiment first. The first time I used blue Flip-Flop pearl I listened to the guy at the paint store and sprayed 2 wet coats over black. I ended up with a purple car. I learned (after re-painting the black) that what I needed for the effect I wanted was a light dust coat over the black. This was the first time I painted a car. (1975)

You should always try it on something besides the car first to make sure you get the effect you are looking for.
