If anyone on this forum works with the City of Tucson or AZDOT, you may want to take a look at moving this web cams location. Currently, it allows the public to log onto the website and control the camera while looking directly into the North side of the new apartments at One North Fifth. If you log on at night there is an hour long wait to control the camera and people are just zooming in and out of peoples apartments.

I don't live in those apartments, but I think it is kind of creepy that people are watching the residents constantly. Also, if the city wants to encourage people to move downtown, stuff like this is not going to help their cause! Web cams are fine, but web cams that zoom directly into people's apartments and give close up views of their activities are weird.

Here is the website:

That is scarry! Especially at night. Hopefully those people at 1 N. 5th Ave have blinds to close the windows so the cam can't look in. Hopefully the folks at 1 N. 5th are reading this!

That is wonderful! So next time I'm on my balcony in my underwear, you'll all know which apartment is mine.

PS. Hi ScranBarre! I'm from Scranton too!

Oh MAN!

That's pretty funny (if pretty twisted). It doesn't surprise me about the long wait to control the camera. As someone in love with the tropics I've browsed around on the various Hawaiian Islands webcams. There's one on Maui that often has folks controlling it and zeroing in on the bottoms of the various bathing beauties. Pretty funny when you pop into the web site and find some girls tush staring back at you.
