Visited phoenix and just love the Suprise area, new, clean, charming, friendly, loads of stores and the white tank mountains were gorgeous. Homes very reasonable, But I still love the mountains being on top of you in Tucson so beautiful, but the neighborhoods were trashy that i viewed and old so thats a turn off and it seems the homes are going up in tucson in price why is that?

The Tucson Basin is diverse. Like other metropolitan areas, there are older, deteriorating neighborhoods;
older, upscale neighborhoods; older neighborhoods on-the-rise; and newer neighborhoods too!

As with other parts of the United States, realty values are on the upswing in the Tucson area. There is an influx of new residents from Southern California, and eventhough the prices are rising in Tucson, it remains much lower than California, so the demand is there.

If you're looking for a "Surprise, AZ" experience near Tucson, you might look at Marana or Oro Valley in the northwest region,
or Vail and Sahuarita south of Tucson just a few minutes. removed
