Have I mentioned our wonderful desert rains? The crackling skies... the rushing arroyos... the briskness in the air... aaahhhhhh...

Sorry... I'm hopeless...
How much longer until the rains again? *is waiting rather impatiently for this*

I've lived all over the world and in many states, and I LOVE the smell of the desert after it rains, I love all the things ZP mentioned. To whomever said it was boring, it's all what you like to do.

I don't understand how anyone could be bored with such a beautiful playground at your feet. I would run, hike, ride (horses), bike, swim. All year round. With that beautiful backdrop, it was amazing. Now if I like to shop? Sure, I might hate it. To each his own. I can think of nothing more boring than a place where the "shopping is great" and that's the big attraction (Scottsdale comes to mind). The nature around Tucson, and so many people there who love to be out in it.

Shhhh... I'm not supposd to talk about rain... because I get a little misty about it... but normally rain happens even more so during our beautiful (and sometimes scary) monsoon season.

Arizona's monsoons normally begin in June and last through Septmber or so, but can vary quite a bit...

Someone mentioned that we may have all ready (!) entered our monsoon season a bit early...

However... I'm not at liberty to proclaim this as yet...

Oh, I know when the season is, I was just being facetious. I'm still waiting impatiently though.

It's easier to highlight the text. That way you don't have to squint.

I liked lemon juice messages, they gave me an excuse to play with matches.
