Sales tax rate in Tucson is 8.1 percent, in Scottsdale 7.95 percent.

La Encantada is not in the city of Tucson...the tax rate there is 6.1%.

Yes, what I am asking is the actual tax rate of purchasing (including state tax, city tax, blah blah blah) at these two differet places. Has anyone bought certain things recently from these 2 places? Like jewelry, clothing, or something similar~~~

You got what you asked for. Fashion Square is IN Scottsdale, combined state/city sales tax is 7.95 percent. Encantada has no Tucson CITY sales tax, so the state rate applies there, which is 6.1 percent. Same tax rates apply whether you are purchasing a ball point pen or a diamond ring.
