i work at walgreens as a pharm tech. they are implementing "power" in arizona. i would like to know anyones opinion about what might happen to our jobs and if you have gone through this already. everybody is really worried that they will lose their jobs. nobody will tell us what the possibilities are that we will keep our jobs. has somebody gone through this already . what do you think? we are all worried.

What does "implementing power in arizona" mean?

Firing people to save money?

It's a regional call center program for filling prescriptions. Google Power Walgreens, and there are several hits.

Looks like the "power" will remain a mystery for us. I know for a fact Walgreens have generators as I spent some time in one when the power at my place was out once.

On a more serious note, it sounds like the initial post is talking about some new policy, but I'm not about to guess what an illiterate post is attempting to convey. I did read yesterday or the day before that Walgreens is planning to have prescriptions filled in Tempe. I suppose this can lead to job losses.

Oh? Prescriptions filled via a call center instead of pharmacy techs? Perhaps that's what the OP was attempting to tell us. Oh...

Oh! Okay... got it! Thanx, Observer! I'd been a bit gunshy to use Google lately...

Oh, I didn't see your post. Evidently, we were all supposed to be up to speed with whichever issue is close to the OP's heart.
