You have to know where to look.

I've seen a big buck munching on a tree in the front yard of a house on Territory Drive (off north Craycroft, below Sunrise).

Drive up the Mt. Lemmon Highway at night in the spring - you're bound to see a doe or two with some youngins.

Then out in the sticks - they are all over.

Deer are everywhere - don't doubt it. They're sort of like pigeons or seagulls.

And that's kind of scary, Chorizo. They could have shoot'ed you, essay. (Or whatever)

I could have shot back, so all is well.

Everyone time I've spotted people with weapons out in the desert who were not hunting or partaking in recreational shooting, I have had the advantage. They did not know I was there.

Did you bathe with the soap that smells like dirt to hide your scent?

Flagstaff has SCADS and SCADS of 'em!

Sorry, I can't use the word "tons", because (1), as far as I'm concerned, its a word for weight measurement, and (2), I'd be reported to the slacker lingo police!

But what, then, is the definition of 'scads'?

Outside of an art school ('SCAD'), some sort of venereal disease, a slang term for the powdered form of heroine and a word that means both 'scandalous and rad' simultaneously (I.E. the Spice Girls), Urban Dictionary has 'scads' as an acronym for 'Scantily Clad Attractive Dumb Sluts'.

Hmmmm.
