My husband and I want to move to Arizona and we've been considering Tuscon. I was wondering a few things. We have two kids so how is the area in general and how are the schools? What is the cost of living like? And what are some good apartments in the area?

well..........FIRST of all, the number one pet peeve the locals have out here is the little matter of spelling your intended destination CORRECTLY!!!!

cost of living is not bad at all, maybe a tiny bit higher than the heartland of Ohio, though.....

many, many apartments out here and lots of rentals....room for haggling even.....

check out the rest of this Tucson subforum and see if your questions can be answered.....

I'm living in the Tucson area and moved from Toledo. If I'd of had any employment opportunities in Columbus I would have gone there in a heartbeat over Tucson any day.

Hahah that's one of the reasons I am not terribly fond of the place. I'm 25 and am looking for a little bit of action. Columbus is a good all around city, and great for young people.

Action? What kinda "action"? Action just gets you into trouble, and then what? You may spend the rest of your life paying for it.
