Which Cellular provider has a strong enough signal Inside Rancho Sahuarita to actually be able to use the phone?

We have Sprint from our previous life in the Midwest and it is horrible down here. Local Sprint Store told us to ditch Sprint and find another service.

Many people say Verizon works the best in Tucson. Just an idea... I'm not with them myself and don't live in RS.

Be patient, MakoML . . .

Just the other day, I read new cell towers will be up and running in the very near future just for the recent population demands in Sahuarita (sorry, not able to locate the article right now). The article went on to explain that no cell service is adequate in the entire area.

I just moved to Rancho Sahuarita and having issues with cell signal as well. I have AT&T and really hope the towers get put up soon. I have a loved one out in Iraq and debating on if I should get a land line installed so we don't have to deal with the signal being hit or miss...which in that case I'll be dropping my cell plan waaaay down.
If I find out any more info on cell tower planning online - I'll link it here.

My housemate has Verizon and his signal is a little better than mine, but still hit or miss. There are areas in the house that are better than others - but it doesn't depend wholly on where you are in the house - sometimes those signals go out in the middle of your call too. And you can be doing fine where you are sitting and then take a step and lose the signal! We never get full signal bars here.

no providers are really good down here right now. I end up missing out on quite a few calls here and there im sure... there are times that I cant call out and it gets annoying. I have AT&T, neighbors have other providers and they complain too... there really isnt a "good" one here yet. I also heard of the cell tower rumor quite a few times.

Verizon phone signal is great in Sahuarita but data connection is bad at times. Keeps switching from 1X and EVDO.

I just got off the phone w/ AT&T Customer Service to reduce my phone plan since I got a magicJack (which works GREAT as long as you are able to keep a computer & internet running - definitely recommend for this area! I was skeptical for a while - after all it's an "as seen on on tv" thing.). i asked the rep about plans for cell sites in the area and she looked at their map - she said there is one they are working on about 25 miles east of my address in Rancho Sahuarita (I live closer to the Pima Mine Rd). It's estimated to be up and running in June this year. Thats the closest one she could find that is going up in the near future.
