Miamiman -

We were in Tucson during the week or so leading up to that snow. All the locals were freezing, but to us it was not too bad at all actually (since we were not acclimated to the climate down there) - except for the very coldest day (which I think brought a record overnight low to Tucson). We were out at J-6 that particular day and the wind was bitter that day. We flew out the day before the snow hit.

Thanks for the pics (very nice).

Ken

Those are just amazing pictures! I was there in Jan. 2008 and we just got a dusting. It's neat watching the locals freak at the snowfall, while the snowbirds just treat it like any other day! But, that's what's so cool about Tucson. She keeps you on your toes.

Fair housing debate aside, Tucson and the surrounding areas have a TON to offer. I relocated down here myself a while back, and have never regretted the decision. My vote is in for Oro Valley, since that is where I ended up! Tucson is so diverse one would be hard pressed to find SOME area of the city they didn't fall in love with. Good luck on the move!

Vail is your best investment. Oro is already crowded and sliding downhill fast.
