phoenix health dept is different they have tried to ban sonoran dogs cause of the bacon. They won't let the carts have grills on them, for some reason the bacon has to be chopped up and cooked at the commisary not like in tucson. but i think theres a truck on contryclub rd and 3 other locations in pHx ..... I WENT TO FOOD CITY TODAY IN TUCSON man there dogs looked big so Igot 1 big mistake boring no flavor at all but the rest of thier food is the bomb . If anybody has any opinions on sonoran dogs please respond. I am starting up a caretta soon ideas very welcomed.

You obviously don't travel much -- or even watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I don't advocate them. But they are ubiquitous.

I ate my first sonoran dogs today at El Guero Canelo. Loved 'em! Can't wait to get down to Tucson again.

The best ones are the ones that are "Sinaloense" dogs. "Ruiz" on 22nd and 6th, and "El Sinaloense 3" on Oklahoma and 12th, which is 1 block north of Irvington are owned by the same family. These two have the best hot dogs by far in Tucson. I go there a few times a week.
