As I stated previously, I am used to driving a long distance, it's just the gas prices might nearly kill me.

Well, I don't even know what Tucson's gas prices are anyway.

Luckily, usually the lowest in the country!

The lowest I have in my current town is about $2.39. And that nearly kills me, it takes like $35 to fill up my car, and my car is not the best, might not make it to Tucson, so, hopefully, I will have a new car by then.

I think gas was at about $2.4x today.

Don't buy a car before you come over!!! AZ cars don't rust and look good. If you do buy a car, make sure its color is not dark!

Will the car start in extremely hot temperatures?

My car didn't start in 97 degree weather , but I'm not keeping my current car.

Also, I have seen (on TV) how hot it gets down there, at least 110, right?

Yeah, it can get to 110 during the day. Very rarely more than that. Most of us think once it gets over 100 it's all the same.

There are 3 apartment complexes around the Greasewood/Anklam intersection, close to Pima CC West. They are called The Reserve, Campus Crossings - Star Pass, and Gateway at Tucson. I personally lived at the Reserve last year, and it was nice. It is made for students, as it is completely furnished, and even has a swimming pool. I think the other two are similar.

Here are their websites:
