So, Guiness World Records just authenticated that the world's tallest dog resides in Tucson. George, the Great Dane, took top honors and David Nasser is the proud owner!

I saw this dog last Monday! I was picking up my pug at the Vet ER place down on River/La Canada. They were there with a photographger taking pics of this monster dog along with the plaque etc.

Rick, does he look as huge in person as the pictures allude to? I just can't imagine such a monster sized dog as a pet! But, then again, I have two Yorkies.

Yes he does Marcy, he's huge, tall, broad chest and solid. I was wishing I could have had them take a pic of my little put standing underneath him. But Mr Pug was not feeling all that well as he had just had surgery and had a cone around his head!

That's amazing. I wonder what the parents looked like. I also wonder if he's allowed indoors.
