I hope Arizona (other than the part that already has it) never switches to DST. No need for it. It's one of those little quirky appealing things about Arizona.

I'd prefer that DST was THE standard time. Just spring the clocks forward one time and leave them that way in perpetuity would be my preference, 'cause I like it getting dark later (clockwise). Just my personal thing.

A huge advantage of DST for Arizona would be an extra hour in the morning before the Sun peaked.

That is true, BUT: I hear people comment about how hot it is in the evening in the summer even after the sun goes down. Imagine the amount of people complaining:

"It's 100 degrees at 11PM!!! " instead of "It's 100 degrees at 10PM!!!! "

I guess it wouldn't be that much of a difference, but I can see the arguments for both sides.
