Bring them on! This city can not afford to lose the millions of dollars US military men and women pour into the city every year! If we do not get the F35 the F16 unit at Tucson International will leave.

Also, some of you talk like the jets fly all day long.

They fly twice a day, 5 days a week... and they dont make any more noise when they are landing than an airliner. They are only noisy when departing and that is usually all within a 30 minute window, twice a day. Each jet makes less than 30 seconds of noise before the afterburner goes off and the jet is high enough to be forgotten.

30 seconds of noise multiplied by roughly 50 jets a day is less than 30 minutes of noise TOTAL... for the whole day.
