I didn't see a Thread about this, so thought I'd counter some of the Debbie Downers that think Tucson is a nothing place, or some dark Rural Hideout in the middle of nowhere.

Photos anyone???????

Thanx, Homey! GREAT pix!

Hey... the negative peeps we will always have with us. They're like flies drawn to honey when we put up threads like this!

No doubt!!!!!!

At least this Thread will hopefully give a head-start to promoting some of the more positive sides of Tucson.

I don't live in Tucson but I was down there recently and it doesn't seem as spread-out or crazy traffic like Phx. Much smaller but still a nice City with a lot of the Urban-Suburban feel that Phx. has.

Don't misunderstand - I love Phoenix; but Tucson has something that Phx. doesn't have. It feels friendlier!!!!!!!

I think the pictures were very nice. The Fox Theater is that a theater that plays movies, or is more for plays or a conference center?

Did you photoshop people into the pictures...? Because short of lunch time during the week and special events there are hardly any!

Don't get me wrong... Downtown isn't that bad and it is clean, but you'd be hard-pressed to call it lively...

I have no clue how to Photoshop - just found these on Google Image under Tucson.

Never said Downtown was lively, but I felt the need to show pics of the more positive side of Tucson to counter some of these negative posts about the City!!!!!!!

And, I, too, love living in Tucson! I purposely chose to live here. I'm glad I made the choice.
