I'm considering a visit to the area of Arizona City and perhaps to other AZ cities within driving distance. I would appreciate any pro ~ or con advice for touring the area. Thanks for any comments.

within driving distance of where?....Tucson?....Arizona City?....

if Az City, you may have better luck on the main Arizona forum than here in the Tucson one

I agree with Azdr, ConeyIsBabe . . . Arizona City is about mid-way between Tucson and Phoenix (about an hour drive each).

As far as "touring the area" . . . there's not much in the area except for Beautiful Downtown Casa Grande which can be toured in about 30 minutes tops. Are you thinking about destinations such as The Grand Canyon or something like Old Tucson and Tombstone? Unfortunately, none of them are considered close to Arizona City.

Good Luck and enjoy your visit.

Yes, more info on whether you're planning to go to the Tucson and/or Phoenix area. There's a lot to see in both of those areas. Arizona City, however . That area's kind of a dump.

THANK YOU all for the replies. I did a little research on the AZ board and it confirms all your comments.

My only reason for considering visiting the area is to accompany a friend who needs to sell their Arizona City home.
