Just curious what teams you root for and what teams the majority of people in Tucson root for?

I would guess 99.9% are UA Wildcats ...

Is it pretty straight forward, meaning Cardinals, Diamondbacks, and Coyotes for the rest?

What out of area teams' shirts/hats/car stickers do you see the most of?

Are the Sidewinders minor league team still playing there? I went to many Toros games back when I was in college ('84-'86)

There were no Cardinals, Diamondbacks or Coyotes there when I lived in Tucson, it was definitely Wildcats. But Suns were on TV if you went to a bar.

Definitely U of A. I am constantly seeing Wildcat t-shirts, hats, etc., on people all the time. I think a lot of people follow the Cardinals, Suns and Coyotes, but being a college and snowbird town, everyone brings their favorites from home, so you see plenty of other NFL, NBA and MLB shirts, banners, bumper stickers, and hats around town. I would say I see a lot of Packers, Steelers, Cowboys, Broncos and Raiders football gear; and Cubs, Red Sox, Yankees, and Dodgers baseball gear.

I'm just starting to get into the local teams. Plan to go to a baseball game this weekend...not sure which one yet but I want to start somewhere. My home teams are the Badgers, Packers and the Brewers.

No. A significant number of Hispanics here seem to be Raiders and Dodgers fans (not stereotyping, just observating). You find a number of people who are also Lakers fans. Also, there are a pretty decent number of Chargers fans here too.

The Sidewinders moved to Nevada a couple years ago.

I see sports fan shirts/hats from all over. We have a large population of snowbirds who root for their own teams. I pull for the Arizona teams and the 49ers.

U of A definitely... f*** the diamondbacks. they left us high and dry to play spring training in the same area they play their entire season. I have trashed all my Diamondbacks shirts and hats. I am now a hater, lol.
