Can one find many nice studio or one bedroom apartments near the downtown area and roughly how much would one be paying? My range would probably be $700-$900.

Also, what is the job situation in Tucson like? I'll be graduating with a degree in Marketing and am interested in what kind of jobs Tucson has.

You should be able to find an apt in that price range or even lower. Tucson ranks as the #1 city in the West in terms of lower cost of renting.
In terms of finding work in marketing, as with most cities it really depends on where you want to generally work.
