The Travel Channel has a show called Food Wars and this Tuesday it features Tucson and our famous (infamous?) Sonoran hot dogs.

They're in Guadalupe, and I've heard they're all over Hermosillo. But wherever in the Sonoran they are the first new direction for a tired fast food that badly needed it.

The Travel Channel has this scheduled for 10 pm (Eastern Standard Time - I'm in NC) TONIGHT!! I have heard about these and am looking forward to trying one next time I am out there.

i havent tried el guero canelo yet, but the one i had at bk today wasnt bad. my brother loves el guero canelo though.

fwiw, BK's won vs El Guero Canelo on that Food Wars show. It was just on a little while ago.

I've never had one from BK's, but I'm gonna try one there soon. Guero Canelo is the only place I've had one so far, and they are excellent there.
