A relatively new Tulsa-based company Naturally Iowa, Inc. announced that it has acquired Totally Green, LLC to create the world's first compostable water bottle closed-loop composting system. This technology may solve the ever-growing problem posed by food waste and plastic bottles in landfills nationwide.

It looks like this might be a ground-breaking 21st century industry! Cutting down on all those plastic water bottles that have been polluting the earth and oceans is hitting a note with lots of universities and government agencies..... and it's headquartered right here in Tulsa.
