The Minshall Park area is a nice part of town, very hilly with nice homes, but very suburban. The area is complicated when it comes to public schools, it is divided among three school districts. Part of the area is in Tulsa Public Schools, in the Memorial High School area (9th grade is usually in High School in Oklahoma), it’s not a bad school, but it’s not great. If you are in TPS I would try to get your child into the Magnet schools, Carver for 8th and Booker T Washington for 9th +.

The western part of the area is in Jenks Schools which is among if not the best public school district in the state. 8th Grade would be at Jenks Middle School at 101st and Riverside and 9th would be at the Freshman Academy on the Jenks High School campus.

The rest of the area is in Union Schools, which are also good. 8th is at the Union 8th Grade Center and 9th is at Union Intermediate High School (it’s a high school with 9th and 10th grades only).

Catholic Schools are divided basically the same, 8th is with the elementary/middle school. St Mary’s is pretty close to Minshall Park for 8th Grade. For 9th your choices are Cascia Hall Prep and Bishop Kelly High School.

Bus service in Tulsa is terrible and as far south as Minshall Park is it basically does not exist.
