Currently am working as a cnc router machinist for a company in Wichita, KS, doing cutting out panels for aircraft cabinetry. Company lost 50% of their business due to a contract either not selling any planes OR moving overseas. That contract will not tell us but it will come out sooner or later via newspaper. In any case we are having to cut our hours down to 32 a week. I will have Fridays off plus the weekends. I have been thinking of moving to Tulsa and working on weekends while going back to Wichita during the week. I have two certificates from college: Machining Technology and Composite Technology. I took lathe training plus cnc programming classes as well. I would like to find work as a cnc router operator and/or lathe machinist. Prior to working for my current company, I worked for a year as a 5 & 6 cnc machinist so I do have experience. I only have classroom experience in lathe machining plus cnc programming. I also took CATIA programming. I would be more than ok to take a trainee cnc programming job. Contact me via email and I will send my resume. I am willing to consider towns in and around the Tulsa area as well. Thank you.
