Right now, nothing for sale is displayed anywhere but in my home. Depends on the reason to have something somewhere usually decides if I tote work somewhere. I used to participate much more in art related situations, but when you are here in 2015, you are welcome to visit. Some of what I have in my house is shown in the Fine Art section of the entertainment file. The title of the thread is Paper Mache, although only one item is paper mache. Also, some of what is there is already gone.

Okay, saw a report on the news about Muslim terrorist training camps throughout the U.S. A group called Muslims of America has set up these camps and there's real concern by the FBI and the Pentagon about them re: stuff like what just happened in Canada. Now, the prez doesn't care, he being a Muslim sympathizer and all, so there's no "official" concern in Washington but behind the scenes there is GREAT concern about homegrown jihadists.

Soooo, it turns out one of these camps is in, or near, Talihina Ok. ...just about 100 miles south southwest of Eufaula. Was wondering if any of y'all have heard of this compound and has anything been in the Ok. news about this place? I have been contemplating selling off most of my guns before I leave here...was just gonna keep a handgun and a .22 rifle but now it seems I may need to keep the AR-15 and ammo as well. Probably the 12ga. pump too for close in work.

We have a group of ultra right-wingers up here but everyone knows where their land is and stays off it. And, I trust them not to do terrorist work...just a bunch of semi-nuts playing war games on the weekends...no real threat to anyone really. These Muslims, though, scare the hell out of me. They seem intent on waging Jihad on EVERBODY and seem content to be killed in the process... and meet their 72 virgins (goats?) in Allah heaven.

Please chime in if you will...thanks,

Joe

The only terrorists around Talihina are in Elohim City, and they are cultist Christians that supported Tim McVeigh and the bombing of the Murrah building in Oklahoma City.

Joe, your post about the terrorist groups was news to me, so I checked to see what Google has to say and there's quite a list. Don't sell your guns. I went to one link but it's just loud rabble-rousing, so I don't know what to think. One link mentions Talihina having a training camp and is dated Jan 2 2012. It mentions a documentary about that camp and others in Michigan, etc. I've heard of them being in Mexico, also.

That's a perfect place to have a Jihasssst training camp Talihina Oklahoma , but didn't POTUS get Osamabeemhiding with the US Navy Seals a while ago ?

How many Jihassst has POTUS hit with Dromes in the last 4 years or so give or take , I would say
a whole boat load full!!!

I was a Military marksman Air Force and Coast Guard , but never touched a gun after my honorable
discharge from the armed services. I somehow feel that I'm on the verge of getting a 12 gauge shot gun and two other secret guns when I retire at 65 years young of age, I'm going to have to practice again to get good at it ( shooting ) , how much dos a bullet cost I got to pick up my own bill from now on and that's a scary thought.

Anybody out there know how to get discount bullets ?

I think everyone who purports to be a patriotic american citizen should be concerned an armed. The grand mufti in charge of the usa aka bho is probably the most unpatriotic potus along with his fellow cohorts slick willie, jimmy goober carter, and assorted leftist wannabes. We are slowly being undermined from within by these pinkos , who hate america, and its citizens, . The infestation began in the 60.s with 20 trillion spent on the war on poverty. The disease of liberalism begins in elementary school where kids are taught revisionist usa history and harriet has 2 mommies, and henry has 2 daddies. The coup de grace comes in college ,Almost all usa univ/colleges are ultra liberal paper mills, churning out degrees to the leftist sheeple who are thoroughly indoctrinated in anti-american values. Is it any wonder we have what is going on today?. I have grown up in 3 socialist /commie countries and spent many years there, I/m grateful that my family and I live in america. Follow the boy scout motto be prepared.!

Howest2008...For the individual, probably no good way to get ammo at discount prices unless you buy the equipment and load your own. Really depends on how much you shoot. Rifle ammo I just buy at our local farm and barn store at retail $. I pretty much shoot .223 at everything nowadays...hunting wise...I buy a box every time I go there...once every couple / three weeks over the summer to spread the cost out. Shotgun, I shoot trap, skeet and sporting clays all summer...the gun club where I'm a member buys shells by the truckload in spring at greatly reduced prices direct from mfg. and sells them to members at no mark-up. I shoot handguns in a league during winter at the local National Guard armory...a friend reloads .45's for me for that and he gets me lo-power .22 long rifle shells through his business (part time gunsmith) for the handgun range as well.

If you're just gonna plink once in a while, I'd just buy at retail a little at a time as your wallet allows.

Actual costs...hmmm...i believe i paid !.45 for a box (25) of trap/skeet loads...about 4.00 for hunting loads...8.00 is the quote for .45 reloads (20) this year and 3.00 or so for .22's (50). Retail on rifle rounds is approx. !.00 per round...give or take, 5.00 on trap/skeet loads, 8.00 on hunting loads, 16.00 handgun rounds and 7.00 for .22's.

I hope this helps and, sir, I thank you for your service to to our country.

Joe

snowbozo13...can't say I disagree with anything you said...per se...name calling gets us nowhere though. I will say that I picked Ok. to retire to for two main reasons...warmth and politics. Wisconsin is blue (and I mean REALLY blue) and Oklahoma is red...how red I'll soon find out. I'm just sick and tired of being in the minority, politically, all the time.

As far as rifles go...I have 21 "deer" rifles I've accumulated over the years, mostly from friends who needed a loan and put up a rifle as collateral. 30.06s, .308s, 7mm Mag. even a couple of black powders. I don't want these any more and certainly don't wanna move them. Am in the midst of a deal with a local gun shop to take them all off my hands. I paid very little for them as a whole so I should come out looking a-okay.

Glad you made it to America from the hell-holes you grew up in...keep up the fight against those who would would drag this country down the tubes...

Joe

Keep those guns, Joe!

Plus, you're gonna need more than a stick to fight these Okie women off...they love Northerners for some reason!
