Are there any suburbs or areas of tulsa that are nice areas and are affordable? I am looking for a one or two bedroom apartment in an area that has a low crime rate and also has access to trains and/or busses.

There are no passenger trains in Tulsa of any kind.

Bus routes are there, but they are not to the level of what you might expect in a larger city. Fewer and farther between. They are also pretty much limited to Tulsa itself; there is very minimal service to any of the suburbs. A lot depends on why you need a bus. Is it to get to work and avoid driving your car? Or is it because you don't own a car at all? Tulsa is very much a spread-out, car-dependent city for the most part.

Give us an idea of what your expected life plans are in general, and we can probably give you some recommendations.

Surely you jest.....

Tulsa Oklahoma doesn't even have a Historic Streetcar System like Little Rock Arkansas does. Tulsa should have had a BRT bus rapid transit system in 2018 but it probably going to take them to 2021 before they get that project up and running. Oklahoma City Oklahoma will have a streetcar system up and running December 2018 this year.

I for the life of me do not understand why Tulsa doesn't have Amtrak buses running to the Amtrak Stations in Kansas City Missouri and Oklahoma City Oklahoma.

Right you are , and it sad to realize that Tulsan really don't travel that much by Train to DFW\KCMO. There are a lot of tulsan at home watching TV and eating buttered popcorn.

Depending on price, I would, and I think lots of people would. Don't know if it would be viable or not.

Yeah Swake , Amtrak Build Bus Bridges connecting areas of low demand for Amtrak trains. In the area where I live amtrak buses will pick you up on street corners , my particular street corner in CA has a Denny's restaurant on it, and the Amtrak Bus drops you off at the Amtrak station. If there were Amtrak buses running from Oklahoma City to Tulsa and Kansas City Missouri to Tulsa I could take the (Train Cross Country) and see all the sights and landmarks. I so want to take a cross-country train trip via Amtrak from California to Tulsa but can't do it!!!!

I'm making a trip out to Tulsa in September which I really can't afford , so I took the cheapest route...Spirit Airline $96.00 from Oakland CA to DFW then light rail\bus to either Dallas or Fort Worth Greyhound down to Tulsa OK $34.00. The same expense going back , which is some-
where between $270 or 80 round trip.

My wife is having her birthday celebration in August 2018 the (26th) , my Brother is having his birthday celebration the (1st) of October , planning a vacation to Hawaii , Mexico and Canada that I'm going to spend more than $280 on.

Swake make sure that you catch the NHL Game 9/22/18 And the NBA Game 10/08/2018 at the BOK I Will.

P.S. Make sure that anyone trying to use a foreign public transportation system use this app MOOVIT in lower case Moovit.

There's nothing to see here.

Actually, I haven't met anyone who doesn't want to move out of Tulsa, and Oklahoma in general.
