Anybody help? I have an outstanding warrant in Oklahoma for not paying some bills, I had to leave the country to help my daughter who was in trouble in a foreign land and I could not pay my bills. Can I come back into the US without any trouble or will that warrant for not paying some bills show up on my entry? Thank you .

If you don't make arrangements before entering the U.S. to pay the outstanding bills you probably will be arrested..........

Not paying bills are not a "warrant" issue. That is a civil matter that is handled by a law suit. Sounds to me more of a bad check/kiting issue or something that crosses over into "criminal" proceedings. There are two types of "criminal" behavior......misdemeanor and felony. If you have a felony warrant, expect to be arrested when you are identified. If you have a misdemeanor warrant out on you, you probably won't be arrested until you re-enter the state and are stopped by the police or arrested for something else. If it IS a felony, it isn't going to go away, so contact an attorney in Oklahoma and ask for them to help you.
