I usually leave my car radio on "scan" to try to find the station that is playing a song I like.

However, a friend of mine told me that 93.5 was playing music without the interruptions of commercials.

I set my dial and sure enough, I have not heard a commercial while in my car for 3 days now.

However, what I particularly like is the music is 50's and 60's, my formative years, so the songs are fantastic from my perspective.

I don't know how long it will last, but I am having fun for awhile during my drive times.

Every time I think of Oklahoma radio I think of two great stations; KOMA in Oklahoma City and KVOO in Tulsa. Both had 50,000 watts and I can listen to them on my bedroom radio 850 miles away.

50's and 60's music-YES!! If they are on the net, I'd love to tune in.

The station is called Chrome 93.5, but interestingly they have no Internet presence. I googled them and there's a lot of chatter on the Internet but the station itself has no website.

Tulsa has NO good oldies stations like you are wanting. The Baby Boomer generation is SOL. We have to listen to crap for music or talk radio. I would rather listen to something that is intellectually stimulating than to listen to music that tears down our morals and positive attitudes. I haven't liked the messages in the music for the past 30 years. I hope someday we can return to the "Americana" of our childhood.
