I am currently in Maryland and want to move from the area. I looked at Alaska due to the high income in my position. I dont think I can put my family through the harsh weather. We would like to move to the Mid West/Tulsa Ok. I have a lot of experience in collision repair and custom, restoration work. Can the helpful people at City Data give me some ideas of where to work and live. Thanks in advance!

HI. I'm not sure where you're at in your search, but maybe you could start with the job search first and then work around that for an area to live in.

Tulsa World: Home Page

The local paper has classifieds and that may help. Sorry~I wish I could give you some firsthand leads, but I live too far north of Tulsa to be of any help.

Lots of crazy drivers around here. One of them rear ended my husband at a stop light when he was driving my car. At least he has insurance. I also have a 1967 VW that needs to be restored. I'd say the opportunities here are just as good as anywhere else.
