I hear a lot of good things about Tulsa, but is it for me? I'm a young, intelligent, African American woman, no kids...seeking a better situation than what I am in at this time. Lookin to rent an apt. or home, 1 bd. maybe 2 bd. Rent starting at $400.00 and up, nice neighborhood, you know...the usual. I visit OKC often, love it, but if Tulsa is the better living situation for me, then Tulsa it is!!! How far of a drive is Tulsa to OKC...not sure. Let me know and all feedback is welcomed...THANKS!

The Turner Turnpike makes trips from Tulsa to OKC easy, less than 2 hours. Tulsa is a vibrant community. I think you would like it here!

I have lived in both OKC and Tulsa. I now live in Tulsa. Tulsa is in NE Oklahoma. NE Oklahoma will remind you more of TN than OKC. Tulsa is hilly with a lot of trees, lakes, parks, and rivers. Tulsa and and Eastern Oklahoma is a lot greener than rest of the state.

Hey, thanks for commenting. What newspapers or resources should I look to when searching for a job? I need anything available at this time. Are there any unemployment offices in this city?
