Looks like they may be going to another national championship game this year, only to be humiliated once again.

Sorry, I'm just tired of this team underperforming when it's most important. It's as if they think the other team will just lay down for them when it comes to critical bowl games. Losing to Boise State the way they did was absolutely pathetic, and then a repeat last year.

I thought we played extremely well against Boise and had a great comeback in that game just to fall a little short. I also thought we had a great season that year with a wide receiver playing QB! You think any other college team could have had as good a season as OU did that year with a wide receiver playing QB??

You have to get to the big dance in order to win it. I'd rather get to the NC game each year and lose it as opposed to never playing in it. You people have short memories, Paul "Bear" Bryant who is considered one of the greatest college FB coaches of all time, had 7 consecutive bowl losses. Remember Tom Osborne of Nebraska? He could never win the big game, lost all his bowl games early on, until the great run he had in the 90's winning 3 NC titles.

You also forget last years NC game. Did you know what game Florida scored the fewest points in, yea, it was against OU in the state of Florida. But you don't remember those facts do you!!??

OU is kind of like the Buffalo Bills of the NFL. Getting to the "big dance" is all about winning, not about losing to sub par teams with gimmick plays. I am proud of what Bob Stoops has done for this team, but he has had more opportunities than most to win the National Championship, and against inferior teams. It's just when he gets there, his season playbook seems to go out the window and he doesn't understand how to coach.

I heard this joke while at work in Oklahoma a year or two ago. ...

How do you make "OU football cookies"?

... You put them in a bowl and beat them for 3 hours.

That is blasphemy to this OU fan. Bob Stoops is the best coach in CFB. Period.

I changed it to "Notre Dame football cookies" and annoyed a former coworker.
