There is another Billy Sims at 91st and memorial (a bit closer)

And Phat Philly's (11th & Detroit) is FAR better than Steak Stuffers.

I have an out of town rule, I will not eat anywhere, if I have it in my town.

So here is a list of some good local stuff:
* The Spudder, a steakhouse, very good and reasonabaly priced, you will have to ask about location, its not on a main street, but just off of a main street.

* Shilohs - good ol down home country style food, all bread products made by hand, including the hamburger buns, not far from your hotel, 51st street, between garnett & 129th e ave.

*stop at any Braums you see, locations all over town, mainly ice cream, but good burgers too.

*plenty of good BBQ, like I said, my family is from your part of Ohio, and trust me, you dont know good BBQ, try Billy Sims BBQ at 51st & Sheridan, there is one in Broken Arrow also, thats close to you. You may like the place, Billy Simms was a Heisman trophy running back from Oklahoma Sooners, and played for the Detroit Lions, there is alot of football memorabilia there.

* There is a new "Toby Keiths, I love this bar & grill" at the Hard Rock casino, im not a fan of country music, but the food is good.

*Steak Stuffers USA, at 51st & memorial, the closest thing to a real philly steak sammich as Ive had outside of Philidelphia.

that should fill you up for a while

Great post with good info. Thanks, ill be sure to check a couple of these places out.

You are wrong about one thing tho... i do know BBQ - ive actually constructed entire trips around BBQ adventures haha... Texas, KC, Memphis, Alabama....so i know good BBQ when i see....er.... taste it.

Thanks again,

G Man

GMan,
so I guess you do know good BBQ, but you will have to admit, I was right about your area not having any.
My last visit, my aunt invited me over, says they are gonna get the whole family together and have BBQ, i get there, and they had sloppy joe sandwiches, I proceeded to explain to them that this was NOT BBQ.

Cincy is definately not a BBQ haven, thats for sure. Even our classic Montgomery Inn - isnt exactly what i consider BBQ.
