Since we've already hashed out the things that are wrong with Tulsa, I thought it was time to say what our favorite thing/things are about the city. Please participate.

My favorite thing is definitely Woodward Park. It's such a beautiful, peaceful place and everything there is just gorgeous! The city can be proud of their beautiful gardens and how well they are kept up.

I like that the cost of living is low compared to other states.

I also had my first opportunities here to see shows like "Wicked" and "Phantom of the Opera". Both were awesome.

I always enjoyed all the free public entertainment available like Mayfest, Octoberfest, etc., AND you could walk to the venues without the fear of being mugged from wherever you had to park.

Oh my where do I begin, I love Tulsa in the spring when all the Bradford Pears trees bloom and for miles around all you can see is the beautiful white trees. The majority of the people are friendly and kind. All the entertainment venues Tulsa has to offer. I won't name them because they have already been named. The easy access to just about anywhere you want to go. I could go on and on but I will spare the forum from my glorious rant.

Springtime sounds gorgeous in Tulsa. I also like that the city has so many trees and bushes and flowers. SO is it springtime there yet??? If so, a roadtrip would be just what I would need. Of course, my first stop would HAVE to be to nearby Grove.

This time of the year in Grove you'd want to make sure the roads weren't icy. I used to drive a route that took me all around the lake via Miami (My-am-uh) down through Grove, and man oh man, when the lake was full the water would come right up to some of the roads and icy????? Watch it. Quiet and beautiful then, though. Everyone else was at home all warm by the fire!!! That was back in the mid-90's so I'm sure there has been a lot of growth since then. I can't wait to check it all out again when I finally get back there.

Where'd that lake come from????????

If you plan to come to Tulsa, come when the azeleas are in bloom and plan a side trip to Honor Heights Park in Muskogee.
