Just a memory here from living in Tulsa as a teenager/college student.

I got my first car (a 1990 nissan 240sx- it was awesome and I miss it) in Tulsa and one of my favorite drives was up that big hill along Yale between 81st and 91st. I loved the way my car hugged the curves up, around and down that hill...am I the only weirdo that enjoyed this hill? Coming from Houston I was in awe of the natural beauty. I still miss it as I am out in the plains of Okc now:-)

I remember when my family moved there & searching for a house we found one in Brookwood, right off of that hill...I wanted it so bad. It was a 70's style house with a massive 20 ft stone fireplace...gotta love those stone fireplaces in Tulsa:-) Needless to say we didn't buy it (had some foundation issues on the bottom level, afterall, it was hanging off a hill!). But I would drive along Yale any chance I got...I just love that area of south Tulsa...definitely worth a look if anyone is searching for a home right now.

My second fave drive was along 71st from Yale down to the river...I love the way 71st seems to tunnel in and out of the hills. The neighborhoods along there are older but nice with huge treed yards. I told our realtor I wanted to live in Southern Hills and she just laughed! (Little did I know it was really expensive! lol)

Perhaps my all-time favorite drive is Riverside...it's just uniquely "Tulsa" and I love watching the style of homes/buildings change from 91st-downtown...It's almost like traveling back in time as the homes/buildings go from new to turn of the century.

Anyways, just my random ramblings here- feel free to add your favorite Tulsa drives as well!
