Oh, don't have me make a list of the shows I'd like to see come back.......it would be wayyyyyy to long!! But will make a couple of comments:
Loved watching (and still watch reruns of) JAG. Spent some years in the Navy during Nam and remember the Officers ranks, etc. If I would have stayed in, I could have gone from Enlisted to Officer and retired a full Commander!
I actually met Dan Haggerty (Grizzly Adams, Hugh O'brien (Wyatt Earp), Larry Wilcox ("Chips", Doug McClure (Trampas/The Virginian). Dan Haggerty was huge! Larry Wilcox has a nice personality and was involved in rodeo when I met him (as I was also). Part of his raising was in Rawlins, Wyoming on his grandfathers ranch.
At 59 yrs old, yes I remember all of these shows and many more!!!!
Emergency! and Lawrence Welk were some of the best when I was REALLY young. Later in the 70s and early 80s you had to love Friday nights with the Dukes of Hazzard and Falcon Crest. The there was Saturday nights with The Love Boat and Fantasy Island. Oh to be young again!
When I was very small my great grandmothers use to watch Lawrence Welk I hated their polyester suits, white shoes and hair sprayed perfect hair back then. Now fast foward to 2008 my 13 yo has discovered the show on our local PBS station. I was laughing my head off at the "perfection" of them all tonight. My kid was getting upset they wanted to listen to the music.
I would love to see, for nostalgia's sake, Dukes of Hazzard, Falcon Crest, Charlies' Angels, Fantasy Island, and Wonder Woman return.
I also watched Bionic Woman (the original of course), The Six Million Dollar Man, and maybe Different Strokes.
All corny shows, but the nostalgia and memories run super high!
