I looked at BBCA website, I never seem to have much luck finding anything useful, its just all sale promotional - nothing like - hey this show will air in 3 months.
According to the website there are 2 seasons, I think here BBCA had season one last...boy when was that? Last winter?
Anyway I had forgotten about this show till I saw the ad for the new AMC zombie show.
You know I've never tried it - I wonder if they do closed captioning for the Brit shows?
The time I had the worst with that was the move The Replacements - think that was it. Young Irish musicians that start doing James Brown to get big, something like that. Felt like I missed half the movie.
I watch enough British television that I don't have a problem. I'm getting the the point where I can discern accents (Manchester vs. Wales vs Scottish, etc.)
Survivors was a British science fiction television series produced by the BBC. It depicts the activities of a group of people who survived a virulent strain of heretofore unknown influenza which has wiped out most of the human race. According to the producers, the series is not a remake of the original BBC television series Survivors (1975–1977), created by Terry Nation, but is loosely based on the novel by the same name that Nation wrote after the first series. Two series have so far been produced of the new series. Series 1 ran on BBC One and BBC HD in November–December 2008, and series 2 ran in January–February 2010, ending with a cliffhanger. It was announced on 13 April 2010 that, due to poor viewing figures, Survivors had been cancelled.[1]
