I think what he said was no more off shoots, but I hope it means no more housewives!

I haven't been watching Bravo and won't until April 7th when RH of NYC starts its new season.

I have to say, however, that enough is enough with these "housewives" "franchises". I don't think any of these women are "real" housewives in any sense of the word. All of these "franchises" are merely groups of women who are from the same city/town and are over-the-top. The more outrageous they are, the better: "table shaking" (nj), acting like a **** & being delusional (bh), being "kookoo" (ny), etc....

I think "housewives" has run its course. Of course, they should keep running new seasons of the established "franchises" but I think it would be pointless to add on new cities.

It's time. Miami was probably one too many.

It was better when the producers formula wasn't so obvious. It looked like a group of quirky friends at first. Now it looks like random famewhores glommed together and forced to be social and histrionic.

Article clearly states there will be more seasons, just not more franchises. It even says there will probably be spin-offs like Bethenny's show. This is the original exclusive with Andy: Andy Cohen Dishes on ‘Real Housewives’: Miami Is the Last Stop on the Train - OK! Magazine - The First for Celebrity News

Miami definitely made me disgusted with the entire situation. I watched a couple of episodes and it is just terrible. I've been trying to get into the new season of OC but all I want to do is wring Vicki's neck more than usual, and I could care less if Gretchen and Tamra kill each other at this point. Stick a fork in me.

Looking forward to NYC but cuckoo Kelly can really grate, too. We'll see. I didn't think I'd like the second season of Bethenny and I'm loving it.

exactly...that's why i liked the original best and even that more at the start than now...

I would like to see real housewives of topeka or something lke that, though. Housewives, not rich, superflashy, screaming and yelling shopping, limo-driven women, but ral moms and wives living a normal life not one that seems to scripted. Some people do nothing fun all day, show that if you wanna show reality (ditto last sentence for current housewife series)

Our local PTO (in a small town in southern Indiana), has been getting solicitations from a reality tv company wanting us to possibly be on a reality show featuring PTOs/PTAs ... how desperate can these people be??? Seriously, would you want to see ME on reality tv? I think not!!!

That will never happen --- what's so interesting about a suburban or rural mom's life?? Nothing. Nothing at all.

The reason the Real Housewives "franchises" were so successful is because of all the over-the-top, crazy behavior and the rich/glamorous lifestyles. No one is interested in watching a regular mom running her kids to soccer practice, cheerleading, or Chuck E Cheeses or sifting through her coupons at the local supermarket.
