Since these networks have a ichy trigger finger, I normally don't start watching a new show until it looks like it wouldn't get cancelled. I didn't start watching Modern Family until mid season; Glee and NYPD the middle of season 2. But I made an exception for the shows above and they didn't last a season.

I sure hope The Gates, on ABC doesn't get cancelled.

Dead Like Me. Funny, smart, witty, clever show.

A few years ago there was a show that had one season -- Swing Town. Totally cheesy, but I was really disappointed when it was cancelled.
