I would tell how I dropped out of school even though I was smart and then took GED tests for $50 per subject for a friend. I scored really high too. My friend was the smartest dummy in the world according to his GED test scores.
I think production pre interviews you with some stock questions until they get some info they like. I bet the story you think you'd tell isn't the story that they have you tell.
I would probably tell about my days on tour with A list bands.

When I was 13, I was on a plane that was hijacked to Cuba. It wasn't as scary as you might think; the hijackers were rather calm and reassuring. The Cuban officials arrested the hijackers when we got to Havana and offloaded us onto a bus with painted-over windows then took us to a dilapidated hotel on the beach. Then the government took us on a very controlled 'tour' of Havana, showing us factories, stores, etc that touted their 'progress'. We weren't allowed to open the windows while in transit; it was stifling. We overnighted (under armed guard) at the hotel and returned to Atlanta in the morning.
I've been a contestant on three game shows. It varied, but all three "helped" define our stories. I understand why. They not only want each player to have a concise, interesting intro, but they also want to avoid repetition. If ten engineers make it to the show, most of them will present with other aspects of their lives- soccer coach, cancer survivor, stamp collector, marathoner, etc.
