I thought it was an awesome show and boy did he play someone with phobias right down to the nitty gritty. Also noticed that Kelly Rowland is also in the show and she played with him when he was the charecter clay mosby on lonesome dove the tv series . Another one which I loved . My late brother was phobic and I still miss him . I just think this is an awesome show .

I watched it, pl. I liked it. I had a funny feeling that woman was going to be a hallucination. I guess that's how he talks things over...creates her. I'm looking forward to next week.

Yeah so am I . I liked it alot . My husband does not think it will last cause that one show called a gifted man where he was a dr and he talked to his dead wife did not last either off after one season . I hope this one does goes on . I really like eric mccormack as an actor although I dont care for his personal opinions or his politics !!!

I liked that show, "A Gifted Man" also. Not as much as I liked the first "Perception" though. I hope your hubby is wrong but I doubt he is. Anything intellectual doesn't stay on for more than a season, if that long.

I watched the pilot On Demand last night and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, most shows that I really like do not seem to last for very long.

Yup, I agree! I hope it does last. TNT has a better record.

I made it to the part in the series opener where they politicized it. Then I turned it off for good. I didn't bother to watch it again.

We've quite enjoyed both episodes so far, including my 2 grown daughters. It has just enough twists to keep you engaged without being overdone.

I liked the second one better than the first. Probably because I had a better handle on it by the 2nd episode. I'll keep watching.

One thing I'm not clear on: Is his paranoia+multiple other issues known at the university where he teaches? Or is it a secret? His assistant knows, right?

Yes his assistant does know about his paranoia and multiple . I really like last nights show . I think in order to deal with his paranoia and multiple he puts on the headphones and the orchestra plays and that takes his mind off of what he is having paranoa about . I will keep watching too as well .
