You know, last week's episode was titled something like, Unbeaten, Unbound, Unbroken. I wonder if that meant Sansa's wedding night was the catalyst that would finally spur both Sansa and Theon into action, as in, actively doing something to change their fate without being told what to do. In the preview of last week's episode there's a scene where Sansa is telling Theon that she still has friends in the north. Hmmm...
But then again, it was revealed on this thread pages ago that, in the book, Ramsey is supposed to marry someone else who's posing as Arya Stark (the hand maiden or some such). And that character is tortured severely by Ramsey before Theon helps her escape. So on TV, since Sansa is in that role now, does that mean it's going to be much worse for Sansa before it gets better? If it gets better, considering it's GOT.
Wouldn't Cersei think Peter Baelish was involved in Joffrey's death? He fled the city with Sansa right during Joffrey's death, yet she is somehow having a discussion with him on the last episode. The show's plot lines are getting a bit tired in my opinion. Arya who used to be very interesting now has the story that is the most boring. What happened to Bran also? The whole season the special child is missing. And the rape scene with Sansa, pretty bad, although even Daenerys was raped before becoming queen. But a poor way to end an episode.
im about ready to give up on this show. Nothing really progresses plot wise. Meh
Im not going to give up, but I hear you. I keep watching and waiting for something to actually HAPPEN. But so far its like a rubics cube, you line up some colors and another one gets screwed up....
I'm coming late to this serious, just starting on season 3, but, should be all caught up in less than two weeks. I can't wait to get there, but at the same time, I'll hate having to deal with the slow pace some have been complaining about earlier in the thread. I'm not going to keep reading all of this thread, I don't want the spoilers for what I know I haven't already seen as far as who will be nixed before I even finish season 3 and 4.
Such a great series. Now I know what all the fuss has been about. Still always more fun when I can binge watch the first couple of seasons.
