I binge watched it and then felt filthy. I loved the show, though. You're right that it won't be everyone's cup of tea, that's for sure. I know a lot of people were really taken aback by how crude it was. I found it hilarious!
Just finishing master of none. It has been on my list for a very long time and finally sat down to watch it. Some silly humor but very diverse episodes. Not a linear show at all. Well worth it.
We only recently started watching Grace & Frankie and we love it! It's our favorite thing to watch before going to bed because it makes us laugh and forget the stresses of the day.
Last one I watched that I actually enjoyed was The Five. My Continue Watching list is now longer than My List. Forgot about Mindhunter, enjoyed that. One good thing Netflix has added? The option to skip the introductions and go straight to the show, so happy about that!
Call the Midwife, which I had seen only occasionally on the local PBS channel because the scheduling was really out of sync for me.
Can't wait to catch up on this one! Right now I am enthralled with "Godless" (three episodes in) but when I'm done with this I'll be in the mood for something lighter. Love this show.
Have you seen "Miranda?" It's got - oh what's her name, the big tall girl who got married on CTM - anyway, she's the main character in "Miranda" and I loved every episode of this silly, witty show!
I don't watch either of those.. I need to log time with Sunny, I've watched a few and want to watch more, but haven't had time. This is the best example I can show that sort of encapsulates the show.
The ghost of Duke Ellington is also a character on the show.
So, you'd have to tell me whether it's Sunny or Shameless crude. I kinda can't imagine it fitting in with either.. It's developed its own brand of crude.
