So Chicago Fire is spinning off another series. I'm totally not surprised. I had a feeling it was happening when Halstead's brother moved to town. And then Severide with that doctor from his past (can't remember her name).
I'm not sure how I feel about this. I think they may be over-doing it....
the female is named april and she was a neighbor of Kelly severides when he was a kid . I love all of these Chicago line stories and I was hoping one I was watching a few years ago about infidelity cant remember the name now but it was good but did not make it and frankly I miss it . But I do like these Chicago series .
I like the entire Chicago concept, especially the way they all show up on each other's shows as needed. It's as close to a soap opera as we have left that is actually worth watching. I thought Antonio could have been a little nicer to Boden last night, though. I am going to be so happy when Boden gets to wipe the floor with Tom Amandes' character.
Back to Chicago Med: bring on the testosterone war between Will Halstead and Connor Rhodes. I'm really glad Nick Gehlfuss finally got a series to lead.
I like Code Black, too. I watched it for the first time the night before Thanksgiving, when nothing else was on (Nashville, Chicago P.D.) I liked it enough to get as caught up as I could with On Demand.

Chicago Med is as bland as every other ER show that I've ever seen. Code Black is dark, confusing. made crazy hectic and that's how I remember big city trauma centers.

I agree, and it also seems very cookie-cutter to me.
I am waiting for NBC to do Chicago Law (Doesnt Boden need a lawyer right now?) and Chicago Sani (Chicago Sanitation) next: "Hey, is that a human arm right there?"
Yeah, this one is pretty formulaic. But I do like the cast, and am watching it for Oliver Platt and S. Epatha Merkerson. OTOH, I really dislike the Dr Will character (red-haired guy). What a tool.
I watched Chicago-Cute-Firemen show for a while, but let it slide. Never seen the Chicago-Gnarly-Cops one.
