I stopped watching Friends around the time Monica and Chandler got together, (when I was around 31 and my daughter was around 4) but then I got caught up when my daughter started watching Friends when she was about 17.

Mostly, I wait until series are over to watch them. I don't have cable or broadcast reception anyway, so I stream or DVD everything anyway. I'm currently three episodes into Mad Men, which looked very appealing early on but which I decided to wait out.

There are a few exceptions - The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul, to name two. Fear The Walking Dead will join those two, as maybe will The Man In The High Castle when the first season airs.

Only ones I can think of are all on HBO, because I didn't have HBO for a long stretch of time.
Entourage
Carnivale
etc...

I started watching Breaking Bad about midway through the last season

I caught Republic of Doyle at the tail end of its last season so I'm now watching the reruns--same with Leverage.

I have "basic" basic cable so I don't get most of the channels I used to when I had Comcast "triple play" so my TV choices are severely restricted. At some point I should get streaming video because I'm missing all of my favorite shows--the new season of Project Runway is starting next month and I'd hate to miss it again....

Monk, wish I'd known about it when it was on. Creative and entertaining.
